Sr Product Manager
is adding a Sr. Product Manager to the global Product team in Woburn, MA. Our expectation at this time is you would work from our office, located at 130 New Boston Street, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Monday and Friday.

that provides public relations (PR) and investor relations (IR) solutions delivered to thousands of public and private companies globally via cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms.As a member of our Product Management team, you will be responsible for developing products that delight our business customers, IR professionals. You will work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out features based on the company’s overall vision and strategy. Candidates with investor relations knowledge will be highly considered.
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for managing and participating in a variety of activities in planning, developing and coordinating the marketing efforts for assigned products during all stages of the product lifecycle; provide support for global products and vertical applications; work with business units and development to define product offerings and requirements; manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures and established timelines; manage and drive twenty-four month roadmap for all assigned products
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESProduct Management Function - Plan, develop, and coordinate the marketing efforts for assigned products during all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Research new markets for sales opportunities
- Work with business units and development to define product offerings and requirements
- Communicate product needs and direction to the product development team
- Build Business Case reviews for new products or functionality which may include return on investment analysis
- Continually evaluate and improve product offers and processes to support products based on sales needs and customer requests
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with various vendors
Employee and Personal Leadership Development - Coach, develop, and mentor subordinates to achieve quality performance while continuing to develop personal management skill necessary to lead staff and handle unique management challenges.
- Promote employee development by establishing performance measures that encourage employees to excel
- Continually assess personal management skills determining strengths and developing a plan to address areas for growth
- Participate in the development of strategies to find optimal solutions to compensate, attract, and retain the talent necessary to achieve established goals and objectives
- Assist staff with establishing and attaining career development goals
- Ensure that employee training is effectively conducted for all positions throughout assigned area of responsibility
- Conduct appraisals and performance reviews
- For staff located within the United States ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action (EEO/AA) guidelines
- Comply with individual country employment laws and regulations based on location of staff
- Review and recommend suggestions to management when updates to job descriptions are required as responsibilities change
Project Coordination - Coordinate, prioritize, and participate in activities associated with completing assigned projects or project task(s).
- Assign appropriate staff to complete project task(s)
- Update project plan as necessary
- Monitor progress of tasks ensuring all deadlines are met as scheduled
- Provide management with status reports detailing status and timelines
- Follow all steps to close project which may include conducting meetings, completing project reports, and maintaining completed project file
Team Interface - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with team members and department contacts.
- Cooperate with team members to meet goals or complete tasks
- Escalate work flow and communication issues to supervisor
- Treat all internal/external customers and team members with dignity/respect
- This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work near or around computers, telephones, and printers
- The nature of the work in this position is sedentary and the incumbent will be sitting most of the time
- Essential physical functions of the job include typing, grasping, pulling hand over hand, and repetitive motions to utilize general computer software/hardware continuously throughout the work day
- Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the work day

Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Experience
- Minimum three years of product management experience required
- Sales experience with networking products preferred.
Other
- Advance knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point required.
