Account Executive

Notified is hiring an Account Executive on our New Logo Agency sales team focusing on PR agency sales. The Account Executive will be directly responsible for penetrating new agency accounts, building key strategic relationships and generating revenue through agency partnerships. You will be tasked with prioritizing assigned prospect agencies, selling into the accounts, and expanding and activating the agency channel. CHICAGO:  Hybrid (770 N. Halsted)

TORONTO:  Hybrid (155 University Ave)

What you will do:

 • Build and manage pipeline of self-generated agency opportunities

• Ruthless approach to time management and methodical approach to sales process and opportunity qualification

• Prioritize qualified sales opportunities and key prospects within assigned territory

• Execute sales cycle to penetrate the most promising agency accounts, generating net new revenue and relationships

• Identify and build multi-threaded relationships across the agency organization

• Establish reputation with assigned agencies as a trusted advisor with industry knowledge and the prospects solution needs

• Proactively identify potential needs of agencies, recommending best-fit solutions with a clear value proposition for the account

• Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of Notified solutions and general understanding of relevant competitor solutions

• Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence Notified value proposition

• Build out and execute an agency activation strategy to grow newly acquired agency business

• Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion

• Collaborate with Sales Engineering resources, as needed, to close the deal

• Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies

• Achieve assigned bookings quota

• Prioritize face to face meetings over remote meetings where possible

• Engage in networking meetings to develop market and influencer community 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of sales experience specifically selling into net new agency accounts and/or selling into an existing agency book of business
  • 2+ years PR/IR industry experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving quota and achieving activity targets (KPI)
  • Strong cold-calling, networking, prospecting and ability to close new deals 
  • Self-starter with excellent time-management skills
  • Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; including experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, up to 2 weeks a month.
