BDR Manager

Office based, 5 days per week
As the BDR Manager (internally known as Sales Manager), you'll be at the forefront of driving growth by leading and inspiring a dynamic team of Business Development Associates. Your mission is to fuel their success through hands-on coaching, mentorship, and personal development, ensuring they consistently crush their goals and exceed performance expectations.
You'll take charge of both inbound and outbound business development strategies, while also playing a key role in accelerating the sales pipeline. By identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation in sales operations, you'll have a direct impact on the team's success and provide game-changing recommendations to EMEA Senior Sales Leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Team Activities: Overseeing the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks of both inbound and outbound Business Development Associates (BDAs), ensuring consistent progress toward goals
- Driving Performance: Working closely with team members to ensure they achieve high-quality performance, prioritize effectively, and consistently hit their meetings quotas and revenue targets
- Supporting Sales Efforts: Guiding BDAs in prospecting effectively, identifying new opportunities, crafting targeted sales pitches, providing coaching on sales methodologies to enhance the qualification process
- Growing the Sales Pipeline: Ensuring that sales-qualified leads are successfully converting into opportunities, contributing to sustained pipeline growth
- Prospecting & Building Relationships: Participating in prospecting efforts, including cold calling and consistent follow-up to nurture prospects
- Product Expertise: Developing an in-depth understanding of Notified's products and services, becoming a go-to resource for the team
- Owning Metrics & Reporting: Taking full ownership of the team’s performance metrics, and regularly report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to Sales Leadership
- Improving Efficiency: Identifying tools and process improvements to boost team efficiency and productivity, making strategic recommendations
- Leading & Motivating: Fostering a positive, high-performance culture by inspiring, leading, and collaborating with the team. Driving friendly competition (through gamification), contribute to building a fun & high performing team culture
- Coaching & Training: Providing daily leadership, coaching, and training to help team members succeed
- Talent Development: Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and promoting BDA team members to build a strong, successful team
- CRM & Best Practices: Educating the team on CRM usage, reporting, and industry best practices to ensure operational excellence; working closely with the AE Team to ensure a positive working relationship and maximise the impact and effectiveness of sales development efforts
- Collaborating with Sales Leadership: Partnering with Regional Sales Leadership and global Sales Leaders to develop strategic and tactical action plans that align with overall business goals and drive team success
What you’ll bring…
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably with major coursework in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in a BDR Manager or Sales Executive with previous BDR experience, or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team of new business sales
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales management and business development with a history of meeting or exceeding targets
- In-depth understanding of sales methodologies and strategies
- Proficiency in CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred
- Experience with outreach tools – SalesLoft preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills in negotiating, influencing, coaching, and building effective relationships
- Analytical and results-oriented mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a sales team
- Goal-driven with a focus on driving priorities and owning outcomes
- Proven ability to establish and nurture high-level customer relationships
- Tech-savvy with strong IT literacy
